MESSI HITS TREBLE AGAINST BOLIVIA

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) superstar Lionel Messi was in sensational form as Argentina swept away Bolivia to take another step towards qualification for next year’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar. Lionel Messi was responsible for all the three goals as Argentina beat Bolivia 3-0 at home to make it two successive wins in the South American qualifiers for Qatar 2022.

Messi and Argentina have won two straight games in the qualifiers for the World Cup tournament next year since the late collapse against hosts Colombia in June. Argentina established a two-goal lead inside ten minutes against the Colombians thanks to the goals from new Tottenham Hotspur recruit Cristian Romero and Leandro Paredes before the hosts fought back with two second half goals. Messi signed contract extension

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi has signed a three year contract extension that will see him remain at the Camp Nou until the 2020-2021 season.


This will be relief for the Barcelona fans who were fearing that Messi will be leaving the Spanish club at the end of his contract.

Lionel Messi said that it has always been his intention to end his career at Barcelona and that he has no desire of going elsewhere. He said that he will be ending his career in Argentina and that as long as he will be playing in Europe, he will be remaining at Barcelona.

This will end the rumors that were seeing Lionel Messi making a move to Paris Saint-Germain during the current transfer window.
