Messi Close To Recovery

Even though the league is just starting Lionel Messi is once again in the radar of eyes all over the world as the Argentinean is on the verge of reaching new heights as he is only 2 goals away from scoring his 400th goal for his club and country.

The next match of Barcelona is against Athletic Bilbao which will be played in the home ground of Barcelona at Camp Nou on September 13th and Messi is expected to not only be featured in this match but to reach the 400th goal of his career which includes goals for Barcelona and Argentina.

Lionel Messi is entering the final stages of his recovery after he sustained a groin strain which forced him to stay out of the playing grounds of Argentina’s international friendly match against Germany.

A statement from the website of Barcelona released an update concerning Messi’s condition as it said: “Both parties agreed that there have been considerable improvements, and the player will continue doing specific recovery exercises until he is ready to resume normal training with the rest of his team-mates.”

Even though the recovery process of Lionel Messi is going amazingly well, it still remains unsure as if Luis Enrique will actually be putting the Argentinean in Barcelona’s next league match against Athletic Bilbao as the former coach of As.Roma could decide to rest the superstar for an extended period of time in order to avoid seeing him get injured unnecessarily.

Whether or not Lionel Messi does indeed get playing time against Athletic Bilbao, the Argentinean is set to make history once more as he continues scoring goals and pushing Barcelona to greatness. During the opening match of the season Messi kick-started the campaign by scoring 2 goals against Elche which helped his club in securing the triumph.
